I feel very lucky to be able to call this election my first. While I do recognize and appreciate the many freedoms we have in this country, I haven't felt any sort of patriotism in a long while for a number of reasons... the environmental and foreign policies of the past 8 years being at the top of the list. When Obama is elected as the 44th president tomorrow I think we can begin a new chaper of American history; a greenier, friendlier and more peaceful one.
I can't wait!
